Dnyanada English School, N-7, Cidco celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and sporty environment. Beautiful scene was depicted which highlighted the importance of the National Sports Day. This was followed by the welcome song and sport song sung by the students. National chess champions Rutuja Bakshi and Indrajeet Mahendrakar were the guest of honour who inaugurated the occasion by playing chess. Students played actual chessboard with live  appearance on chessboard. All ancient games were played by students, like Gilli-danda, Marbles, Hopscotch, Top, Champul, Skipping, Langdi, Aandhali-koshimbir, Lagori, Sagargote and Yoga. Secretary N.K. Joshi sir, Shaila Joshi ma’am, Mentor Anita Shidhaye , Principal Nayantara Nair ,co-ordinator Manisha Joshi appreciated the efforts put by teachers and the  students.

Dnyanada English School, N-7 Cidco celebrated 73rd Independence Day with unprecedented patriotic fervor. We were lucky to have Lance Naik Yogesh Shejul sir who graced this occasion as guest of honour. The programme commenced with English and Hindi speech and followed by a patriotic song “E Vatan vatan mere……..” The coir presented a melodious song of praise and prayer specially to mentain peace , harmony and prosperity of the country. The proud smile could be seen on everyone’s face when the Pre-first presented “Ghungroo kathi drill”  which was indeed mesmerizing. “Arobic excercised’ too was breathtaking. Tree Plantation Drive at Dnyanada English School Keeping the spirit of environment conservation alive with the ongoing Tree Plantation drive all across the country, a tree plantation programme  was held in Dnyanada English School on the occasion of Aashadi Ekadashi with a religious processions where students of Step VI to VIII said slogans awaring people the need of tree plantation and tree survival. International Yoga Day at Dnyanada English School, N-7 Cidco (Dnyanada kg & State Board) Dnyanada English School celebrated international yoga day to create awareness of yoga among the students. At the beginning of the celebration yoga prayer was sung by the students as well as the teacher. Teachers explained the importance of the day and also instructed students for various asanas like Pad-Hastasan, Tadasan, trikunasan. School management, encouraged the students to practice yoga regularly to remain fit, students did many formations and did yoga.

Little ones celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi with " Dindi " at Dnyanada English School N-7 Cidco .   On this auspicious occasion puja was  performed by our secretary N.K.Joshi sir,Shaila Joshi ma'am, Coordinator Manisha Joshi ma'am,Hrushikesh Joshi sir and Jagruti Bangale ma'am.Students of 1st to 4 th performed bharud and sang abhang.   Students dressed in colourful traditional attire enthusiastically participated in a  dindi’ to celebrate Ashadhi Ekadashi on Thursday .   The ‘dindi’ started from N-7 Cidco. As many as 260 students participated in the ‘dindi’ and chanted ‘Jai hari Vitthal jai jai Vitthal’. “We have been organizing ‘dindi’ every year. It has now become a tradition of our school.
