Every year of Dnyanada Sky gazing program is organized for student of X.

This year too the sky gazing program was organized at Dnyanada English School, Pokhari for the student of class X. some experts from the ‘ Khagol  Mandal ’ from Mumbai had shown the stars.

The program began with a brief introduction to the solar system and important star clusters and constellation with the help of powerpoint presentation later, the student were taken on the ground to watch the dark night sky. The students were given information about how to identify directions without a compass looking at the night sky. They were shown certain constellations, star clusters and many other astronomical phenomena like the zodiac signs. Through telescopes students observed the Orion cluster, saptarishi, Jupiter and moon.

The dinner was prepared by student. Girls and boys took the responsibility of cooking pulav and khichadi. They enjoyed the role of a cook and a host too. They had a stay for a night. Later games like treasure hunt, musical chair, bonfire, etc. were organized. Early morning they had Yoga session and tea and breakfast & left for their hoe. In overnight stay gave a wonderful experience to all

The secretary, principal and vice principal and teachers present on this occasion motivated the students for hard work for their coming Board exams.
