This year our school organized a trip to rajasthan for step 8th and 9th. We visited rajasthan, a state of India, which is pop[ularly known as the “Place of rajaput worriers”. When we reached rajashtan I found the state many time beautiful than my expectations. Each and everywhere we found distinct qualities of sculptural art that flourished in the places of forts and Royal halls, constructed at different times by the great rulers.
On our 7th day of trip to this historical state, we visited various charming destinations of Rajasthan such as jaypur, Ajmer-Pushkar and Udaypur. The rich and varied culture of Rajashthan fascinated me a lot.
We started our journey from the capital city of jaypur, which is famous as ‘Pink City’. The guide told us that the name of the city is as such because here each and every house, office and institution are colored pink. The splendid architectural grandeur of Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, city place and Raja Mansingh Place spellbound me totally.
After visiting Jaypur we proceeded to Ajmer- Pushkar. Ajmer the final resting place of the great sufi sant-khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. We visited Khwaja ShahDarga. Next we went to the holy town of Pushkar, which is home to famous Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake.
Our last visiting place in rajasthan was Udaypur. It is said to be place city, lake city and white city. We visited Pratap Smarak which is situated on That sagar Lake. This place is dedicated to great king Maharana Pratap Singh and his loyal horse Chetak. We also visited the city Palace, sahaliyon ki badi and the famous chittorgarh fort.
This trip was a amazing experience for all of us. I thank my school for arranging such a great trip in which we had fun also saw many new and beautiful places. It was also on educational trip for us.
