A study tour of space park for the students of step 6 to 8 was organized by Dnyanada English School, Pokhari, on 16th & 17th September 2023. We are very much thankful to Suresh Naik sir, his team, Punekar sir for their, apt guidance, hospitality and Dnyanada English School Management : Secretary N .K. Joshi sir, Hrushikesh Joshi sir, Manisha Joshi ma’am and Principle Mamta Jaiswal ma’am for arranging the tour for Dnyanadians with the aim of creating interest in Science and Technology as well as to imbibe scientific approach with life skils and classical reasoning, bringing awareness, easy solutions for day to day problems, in the upcoming generation and future of our nation. All the activities of space park enabled students to understand various concepts in learn with fun way. The first day of the tour, on16th September, students visited the SNSP and rejoiced in space rides such as Moon walk, Space elevator, Movie, Sound show, Robot show, Mars lights, Alien show and Zero gravity that gave the thrilling with virtual experience.
An exhibition on ISRO had given complete idea to the students about working of ISRO as well as the career opportunities in it, delighted each student. Students had the live and titalliated experience of launching of Mangalyan 2014 and
Chandrayan 2023.Students enjoyed a lot wearing the Astronaut Suit with the awesome photo shoot. The most enthusiastic enjoyment was of the adventure games like Rope cycle, Rope way, Rope bridge, Robot dance etc.
On the second day 17th September the visit to Homi Bhabha Nuclear Park with the calm and ecstatic stay at River Paradise Resort wondered all. In the morning Swimming and Cricket match activity made everyone’s day. By wearing Nuclear radiation protective suit and helmet students had the breath taking experience of the Nuclear Exhibition and guided about the production of nuclear energy, its uses and career or jobs in it. Sky theatre, Shark tank, Earth watch and Planetorium activities
upgraded students knowledge. A funny and happening day included Sky cycle, Zip lining, Trampolin, Adventure Rides, The Magic Show and Rain dance completed our study tour with life’s unforgettable memories.
