Pola festival celebration was organised at DNYANADA ENGLISH SCHOOL, POKHARI by Yellow House and students of Step 4 and 8.
The programme began by giving bath and decorating the bullocks with Garlands,ornaments, eco-friendly colours by Step 8 students. Anushka Gavande and Sanskruti Sonawane from Step 8 gave information about the significance of Pola festival. The Dnyanadian family performed the rituals thanking the decorated bullocks, as they are crucial part of agriculture and farming activities. The programme took place in the presence of dignitaries School Secretary Mr.N.K.Joshi, Administrator Mrs.Anita Shidhaye, Co-ordinator Mrs.Manisha Joshi, Trustee Mr.Hrishikesh Joshi, Principal of CBSE branch Mrs. Mamta Jaiswal ,Principal of S.S.C Board branch Mrs.Nayantara Nair and our Beed bypass branch Principal Mrs.Priya Joshi. The programme was conceptualized by Yellow House Mistresses Mrs.Sangita Pathak. The students were filled with joy seeing the spectacular display and the school atmosphere was filled with reverance to these friends of farmers.
