Rakshabandhan celebration was organised at DNYANADA ENGLISH SCHOOL POKHARI by the Blue House.
Strengthening the bond of love between a brother and sister is the main idea behind celebration of “Rakshabandhan”.
The students from Step 3 and Step 5 celebrated this festival in school.
The girls from these classes tied “Rakhis” to the boys from their class. The students enjoyed this celebration with the famous rakshabandhan songs being played. The girls also gave sweets to the boys. A detailed information about the significance of this celebration was given by Mrs. Priyanka.
The students on this day were also advised to tie Rakhis to our policemen, doctors, nurses and other government employees as well as trees and pledge to respect them and protect our environment.
