“Jagannath Puri Rathyatra celebration at DNYANADA”
The Jagannath Rath Yatra celebration was organised at DNYANADA ENGLISH SCHOOL POKHARI on 22nd June 2023. The celebration was organised by the P.T.,Music and Drawing Departments of the school.
The Chief Guest on this occasion was Dr Sandip Lokhande a motivational speaker, well-known Denta l surgeon, Implantologist and Magazine Author.After being in contact with ISKCON in his college days and receiving Initiation from HH Radhanath Swami (Author of the bestselling books The Journey Home & Journey Within), Dr Sandip Received the Spiritual name Subuddhi Rai Das.
The programme began with welcome of Chief guest by Mrs.Sukhada Joshi and Mr.Ganesh Tupe. The dignitaries present on this occasion Chief guest Dr. Sandeep Lokhande, Secretary Mr.N.K.Joshi , Trustees Mrs. Mangala Joshi, Mrs.Shaila Joshi, Mrs.Jagruti Bangale performed Arti of the “Rath” chariot made especially for this celebration. The prasad made by the students ‘khaja’ was distributed to everyone present after the Arti. A video about the significance of this ” Rath Yatra” was shown to the students present. A symbolic procession was taken out in the School Campus .The Chief Guest guided the students about this unique cultural event. Everyone present were mesmerized by this holy and auspicious event.
