The Senior Citizens’ Day celebration was organised at Dnyanada English School Pokhari by the Blue House.
The students from Step 5 participated in this event. The Guests of Honour on this occasion were Mr. Ramesh Kulkarni a well known Author ,
Mrs. Smita Ramesh Kulkarni a well known author and Principal and Mr. Shantaram Prahlad Danekar ex-faculty of SBI training centre.
The students from Step 5 presented melodious songs from yesteryears to entertain the Grandparents and conducted interview of the Guests of Honour Mr. Ramesh Kulkarni, Mrs. Smita Ramesh Kulkarni and Mr. Shantaram Prahlad Danekar . The Guests enjoyed giving answers to the students from Step 5 , about their childhood, and important milestones and achievements of their lives.
School Secretary Mr.N.K.Joshi, Administrator Mrs.Anita Shidhaye,Co-ordinator Mrs.Manisha Joshi, Trustees Mrs. Shaila Joshi ,Mr.Hrishikesh Joshi and Mrs.Jagruti Bangale and Principal Mrs Mamta Jaiswal were present on this occasion to encourage the students and to sensitize them about taking care of the Senior Citizens i.e their Grandparents at home.
