Dnyanadians celebrated the festival with a difference in dry and eco-friendly manner. Instead of colours, sandal paste was used to mark on the forehead. Children were made aware of not
using and wasting precious water. Flower petals were showered on students and teachers as blessings. Later, the traditional fire was kindled, and a Holika effigy was set on fire by the school Principal Mrs. Mamta Jaiswal along with the four house captains and vice captains.The celebration ended on a note of high spirit and energy with a riveting song ” Aaj biraj me holi hai rasiya”by Music teacher Mrs. Sukhada Joshi and choir (9 th std girls) accompanied by Swapnil Sir on tabla and Shivaji Sir on the harmonium. We must always remember, “Nature is painting for us, day after day, infinite beauty, let us keep the beauty surviving”.
