The 77th Independence day celebration at DNYANADA ENGLISH SCHOOL POKHARI was organised by the Blue House.
The programme began with flag hoisting by the Chief Guest Mr. Krishna Vitthal Dahihande an ex-army personnel, and parent of Dnyanadian Pranita Krishna Dahihande from Step IV-G. He served in ” The Maratha Light Infantry Regiment” of the Indian army for more than twenty years. The Oath of ” Meri Mitti Mera Desh” this year’s theme was taken by everyone present on this occasion. The students of Step V presented a Demo of learning numbers with exercise in a play way method. This was followed by speeches by students Ananya Manesh Pawar from Step 5 H and Disha Yogesh Patil from Step 3-F highlighting the theme of this year and reminiscing the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. The choir presented the song ” Hamara Watan Jaan Se Pyara Watan ” . This song is written by Mrs. Pallavi Suwarnakar H.O.D. of Hindi Department and the music was composed by music teachers Mr. Shivaji Ardad , Mrs. Sukhada Joshi and Mr. Swapnil Shire. The prizes for the Sanskrit Day Competition were awarded by the Chief Guest . The School Council members were conferred badges on this occasion by the Chief Guest, School Secretary Mr.N.K.Joshi and Trustee Mrs Jagruti Bangale. The subject committees were awarded badges by the PTA MEMBERS Mrs. Dipali Ingale , Mr. Sanjay Sulane and Mr. Ganesh Mote and Principal Mrs Mamta Jaiswal. The Chief Guest, PTA member Mr. Ganesh Mote and Secretary Mr.N.K.Joshi addressed the gathering and motivated the students to join the armed forces. All the students pledged to take care of the Unity and Integrity of our country.
